🌴 Tropical Climate

🌦

Tropical climates are found near the equator, between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. These regions receive direct sunlight throughout most of the year, which keeps temperatures warm year-round.

Average temperatures typically remain above 18 degrees Celsius. Unlike continental climates, tropical regions do not experience large seasonal temperature changes.

Many tropical areas have high humidity and heavy rainfall, especially rainforests. Other tropical regions experience wet and dry seasons due to shifting global wind belts and the movement of the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
